You decide how much it may do
Permission modes run from plan-only to fully automatic, with approval per tool. Risky commands wait for you.
Verified, not asserted
A result is marked green only when the checks it recorded actually passed. No passing check, no green.
Everything is reversible
Each change is checkpointed. /diff shows exactly what moved and /undo takes it back.
Cost you can see first
Spend is shown every turn in your own currency, and you can cap what a single task may use.
Runs where you want it
On your own working tree, or isolated in a Docker or remote sandbox when the work should not touch your machine.
Sessions that survive
Work is saved after every completed step. Kill the process, come back, and resume where it stopped.

/task- The request, the plan, the changes, the verification and any blockers in one view.
/diff- Exactly what this session has changed.

archymedes --free- Run on zero-priced models. It will not quietly switch to a paid one.

- Hosted spend caps and routing receipts arrive with Archymedes Cloud, which is not live yet. With your own provider key, everything else works today.
- Other coding agents share some of these features. What we hold ourselves to is that the work can be checked.
