Each request reserves the most it may spend before any model runs. It cannot go past that.

A route you can read
The receipt names the model that was chosen, the alternatives that were passed over and why, and the estimate against the actual charge.
Policy, not guesswork
Choose cheapest, fastest or best fit for the kind of work: coding, design, research, security.
It keeps going
When a provider goes dark, the call is routed to the next one that fits your policy.
Plain pricing
Model usage is billed at the provider's normal price. Archymedes adds one small, visible fee and no markup.
Open protocol
The protocol is public, so anyone can build a client. Routing never sees payment details, and billing never sees your prompts.

- Not accepting payments yet. Before it does, billing has to pass its correctness and recovery tests, including refunds and data export.
- Credits will be for Archymedes services only. They are not transferable and cannot be withdrawn.
